HOW TO DO IT

Seated, the client straightens their knee against gentle hand pressure on the bottom of their shin. Strengthens the front of the thigh.

Verbal Cues

  • “Straighten your knee against my hand”
  • “Push as hard as feels right, smooth and steady”
  • “Slowly come back down”

What to Watch For

  • Knee fully straightens if possible
  • Pressure is matched, not overpowering the client
