HOW TO DO IT

Lying on the back with both knees bent, slowly drawing one knee up towards the chest and lowering it back. Lower abdominal and hip flexor.

Verbal Cues

  • “Lie on your back with both knees bent”
  • “Lift one knee up towards your chest”
  • “Keep your lower back flat on the floor”

What to Watch For

  • Lower back should not arch off the floor
  • Movement is controlled, not jerky
  • Feet should end up slightly higher than knees
