Verbal Cues
- “Hands flat on the wall, shoulder-width apart”
- “Bend your elbows and bring your chest towards the wall”
- “Push back strongly to the start”
What to Watch For
- Body stays in a straight line
- Elbows stay at roughly 45 degrees from the torso
Safety
Avoid polished tiles, slippery floorboards, or loose rugs. The client should wear shoes with grip, not socks.
