HOW TO DO IT

Standing or seated, sliding one hand down the side of the leg and returning to upright. Loosens the muscles down the side of the trunk.

Verbal Cues

  • “Stand or sit tall”
  • “Slide one hand down the outside of your leg”
  • “Come back up to tall, then the other side”

What to Watch For

  • Pure side-bend, no twisting forward
  • Hips stay level
