Seated, slowly turning the head to look over each shoulder.

Verbal Cues

  • “Sit tall, look straight ahead”
  • “Slowly turn your head to look over your shoulder”
  • “Come back to centre, then the other way”

What to Watch For

  • Movement is slow and through the neck only
  • Shoulders and trunk stay still

Safety

Move the head slowly, as quick neck rotations can trigger dizziness in older clients.
