Seated with feet flat on the floor, lifting both heels off the floor and lowering them. Strengthens the calves for clients who cannot stand for long.

Verbal Cues

  • “Feet flat on the floor to start”
  • “Lift your heels as high as you can”
  • “Lower slowly back down”

What to Watch For

  • Both heels lift evenly
  • Knees stay over the feet
