Seated with the elbows tucked at the sides, curling a band or light weight up to the shoulders. Strengthens the front of the upper arm.

Verbal Cues

  • “Elbows tucked into your sides”
  • “Curl up smoothly, then lower with control”
  • “Don’t swing the weight”

What to Watch For

  • Elbows stay anchored at the sides
  • No trunk swaying or shoulder shrugging
