HOW TO DO IT

Lying on the back with knees bent and feet flat, lifting the hips up off the floor and lowering with control. Strengthens the glutes and lower body.

Verbal Cues

  • “Press through your feet and squeeze your glutes”
  • “Lift your hips up to a straight line from knees to shoulders”
  • “Lower slowly”

What to Watch For

  • Hips lift evenly, not one side higher
  • Back should not over-arch at the top
