HOW TO DO IT

On hands and knees, the client extends one arm forward and the opposite leg back, then returns. Strengthens the core and trains stability through the trunk.

Verbal Cues

  • “Reach the opposite arm and leg out long”
  • “Keep your back flat, like a tabletop”
  • “Pause, then bring them back under you slowly”

What to Watch For

  • Watch for twisting or the lower back sagging
  • Head stays in line with the back, not lifting or dropping
