Banded Bicep Curls

HOW TO DO IT

A bicep curl performed standing or seated using a resistance band. Strengthens the front of the upper arm for lifting and carrying.

Verbal Cues

  • “Keep your elbows tucked into your sides”
  • “Curl the band up slowly, then lower with control”
  • “Breathe out as you lift”

What to Watch For

  • Watch for shoulders shrugging up to the ears
  • Check the elbows stay tucked into the sides
